Welcome to Blue Shoe Lake, where nothing ever goes exactly according to plan. Here you'll find the adventures of Mark and Gator, two unlikely friends who somehow manage to find trouble, wisdom, and laughter in equal measure. Pull up a rocking chair, pour yourself a cup of coffee, and stay awhile.

                   Meet the Folks of Blue Shoe Lake

Mark – A storyteller with a cup of coffee in one hand and a scheme in the other.

Gator – A hat-wearing philosopher who somehow finds trouble no matter how peaceful the day begins.

Dr. Ellie Thorne – Naturalist, scientist, and the only person around here with any real common sense.

Pearl – A beautiful albino alligator with pink eyes and a mysterious past.

Spartacus – A rival bull gator who may have his own plans for Pearl.

Ole Mr. No Shoulders – A snake that always seems to show up at the worst possible moment.

Season One: The Beginning

Chapter One

A chance meeting at Blue Shoe Lake begins an unlikely friendship that will forever change both of their lives.

 

Chapter Two
The porch, the lake, and the cabin begin to reveal that life with Gator will never be ordinary.

 

Chapter Three – Thermodynamic Bad Decisions
Coffee in a gas tank. A runaway boat. An exploding motor. Just another quiet day at Blue Shoe Lake.

 

Chapter Four

Strange things are stirring around Blue Shoe Lake, and Mark and Gator begin to realize that not everything in the water is what it seems.

 

Chapter Five
Dr. Ellie Thorne arrives, bringing science, curiosity, and just enough common sense to make Mark and Gator nervous.

 

Chapter Six – Part One
Pearl appears, beautiful and mysterious, while danger rises beneath the surface of Blue Shoe Lake.

 

Chapter Six – Part Two
Gator has fallen head over heels for Pearl, but a rival named Spartacus may be standing in his way.
