Love is the thread that quietly stitches together an entire lifetime.
Love has worn many faces in my life.
It first arrived as an innocent smile across a classroom.
It became butterflies before a first date.
It became the excitement of a first kiss.
It became marriage.
It became fatherhood.
It became friendship.
It became sacrifice.
Sometimes it made me laugh until my sides hurt.
Sometimes it broke my heart.
Sometimes it quietly waited while life taught me lessons I wasn't ready to learn.
Every chapter of my life has been shaped by someone I loved.
Some stories ended sooner than I hoped.
Others are still being written.
A few became forever.
